To access your Webmail control panel visit:

http://webmail.your-domain-name.co.uk (or .com, .net, etc)

Then enter your full email address in the Mailbox field and your email password in the Password field.

You control the sensitivity of the filtering used and also decide what to do with the Spam, when it arrives in your mail box. Advanced Email is an optional extra service, and is charged per mail box.

Do you support Bulk Email or provide List Servers?

Yes and No - If your goal is to send a specific message to a group of subscribers on occasions, and 'not' to have a conversational list or send Spam messages, you can accomplish this with a Microsoft Access or MySQL database. However, we do not support bulk email or provide list server capability because of potential traffic and congestion problems that can be created on shared mail servers.

With regards to web site scripts - we limit the number of emails you can send to 10 emails in 30 seconds, and also to 50 emails in 10 minutes. This sort of practice is now common amongst Internet Service Providers; in an attempt to reduce the amount of Spam people receive.

Do you provide Email Components to Email Form Results?

Yes - Our Windows servers support the JMail, CDONTS and CDOSYS email components; all of which can be used dynamically from Forms that call Active Server Pages.

Please note that Sendmail scripts do not work on Windows servers. A Sendmail script can only be used on Linux servers.

The SMTP setting for any Form to Email scripts will look like this: smtp.your-domain.co.uk

and an example using Jmail:

'Out going SMTP mail server address objJMail.ServerAddress = "smtp.your-domain.co.uk:25"

The path to PERL is: /usr/bin/perl

The path to Sendmail is: /usr/sbin/sendmail

The path to BASH is: /bin/bash

Please Note: To process any Form results either the TO or FROM email address has to be from the domain firing the script.

Do you support Outgoing SMTP Authentication?

Yes and No - You should use your current Internet Service Provider's SMTP setting to send any Out-going email. This method saves you time and money, as you do not have to change your dial-up or broadband connection, just to send email.

However, if your using a Bristol Link dial-up account you should use our SMTP setting:

smtp.your-domain-name.co.uk (or .com, .net, etc)

If you need help to find your ISP's SMTP setting or to add it to your email account, just email Bristol Link and ask for help.
