Bristol Ice Rink in Frogmore Street opened in 1966. Originally owned by Mecca they added an ice hockey arena in 1981. It is now part of the John Nike Leisuresport’s facilities offering skating lessons, junior ice hockey and ice karting.

Skating sessions start from 10.00am and there are group discounts. There are Family sessions, Public sessions, Pop on the Rocks (junior disco throughout half term holidays) and Disco sessions.

There is also an excellent Learn to Skate Programme where novices can learn in a safe environment and a Junior Ice Hockey Programme for real enthusiasts! Ice Karting with a live DJ and race commentary is available for parties. There is something for everyone to participate in or just watch and enjoy.

There is a Bus Skate return ticket available with excellent savings on any First bus from Zone 1 or 2 to Bristol City Centre available between 09.00 and 20.30 which entitles you to skate hire and entry to the rink.

There is a fully licensed bar and meals available in the cafeteria.
