Chew Valley Lake Birding
A semi-natural reservoir 10 miles south of Bristol, and the largest lake in the south west. This site contains frequently updated news and information on its birds and wildlife.

Severnside Birds
This site is for anyone with an interest in the bird life of the mid Severn Estuary including Severn Beach, Aust and Chittening Warth areas. Severn Beach is a coastal village in South Gloucestershire.

The Great Bustard Group
Based in Wiltshire, the GBG was set up in 1998 specifically to run the UK reintroduction project. It is an independent UK registered charity and membership organisation dedicated to the conservation of Great Bustards.
