Ashley Vale Action Group
A community group in Bristol formed in 2000 to take control of the
re-development of a local brown-field site for the benefit of the
community in a manner sensitive to the environment.
Easton Residents Network
For people who live in Easton and Lawrence Hill to give local people a
say on community issues in order to promote the area for all sections of
the community. Newsletter and community notice boards available.
Hartcliffe and Withywood Community Partnership
A registered charity run by local residents on the outskirts of Bristol
helping to promote and improve the area. It has a quarterly newsletter,
hosts visits and organises events. Board meetings are monthly and anyone
is welcome to come and listen.
Hartcliffe and Withywood Ventures
The Gatehouse Centre is a thriving community organisation whose team
provide free confidential information, advice and guidance. Adult
training, youth training, computer training and nursery are available.
Hotwells and Cliftonwood Community Association
Meetings are held at Hope Chapel and new members are welcome. HCCA is
run by local people identifying and responding to local need. The aim is
for the organisation to be representative of the whole of the local
community.
Redland and Cotham Amenities Society
Founded in 1973, the society is a registered charity committed to
preserving and improving the area for the benefit of present and future
residents. Various organised events as well as a newsletter and local
guides.
Southmead Development Trust
Based at the Greenway Centre the trust is owned and managed by local
people. It is a charitable trust which includes a business centre, IT
training, and a sports centre.
St Paul's Unlimited Community Partnership
Residents, agencies, businesses have formed a group of people whose aim
is to improve the quality of life in the area. Various projects are in
progress making a positive step forward for change. New members welcome.
Streets Alive
Charitable group promoting and organising community street events.
