Bristol Aeroplane Company
The founder of the Bristol Aeroplane Company Sir George White 1854-1916
set up the company as a family business. His aircraft factory soon
became the largest in the world.
Bristol and Avon Family History Society
Society formed for the study of local genealogy and history providing
contact between members through quarterly journal and regular meetings.

Based in St Nicholas Church, BaRAS is an archaeological unit undertaking
projects in the south west. It is part of the Bristol Museums and Art
Gallery in the Cultural Services division of Bristol City Council.
