Abseil down Bristol's famous landmark, the Avon Gorge, for south west-based international development charity, Concern Universal!

Taking place on Sunday 26th April, we're recruiting brave volunteers to take on the 120m abseil challenge, and raise funds towards our World Water Day celebrations, and in fighting poverty in 12 of the poorest countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

2008 National Charity of the Year in International Aid and Development, Concern Universal works in partnership to fight poverty and inequality, supporting practical actions that enable people to improve their own lives and shape their own futures.

Pants in the Park - Whatever your age or ability our Pants in the Park 5km fun run or walk is perfect for all the family. This year our 5km family fun run is taking over June to help raise vital funds and awareness of prostate diseases. Sunday 7 June at Blaise Castle.

To help raise awareness we are asking you to dress up 'superman style' with your pants on the outside of your running clothes – the more colourful and outrageous they are the better. Remember, there will be prizes for best pants!

Remember, you don’t have to run it (we love walkers too!) and it’s only £5 to enter (children under 10 are free but must be accompanied by a paying adult).

Jump for Jessie May - Skydive with the Red Devils on Tuesday 23rd June 2009 at the Dunkerswell Airfield, Taunton, and help raise valuable funds for local terminally ill children and their families in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

£90 initial deposit needed to reserve your place in the jump. A further £200 to be paid on jump day, and we are asking for a £210 minimum sponsorship amount which will go directly to The Jessie May Trust. All funds raised will go towards our Precious Time Appeal target- in order to provide more support to every local family caring for a terminally ill child at home.
